Update (2:52 p.m.): The road has been reopened.

A crash prompted the closure of a highway in Sequoyah County Saturday afternoon, according to troopers.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the injury collision happened along U.S. Highway 59 near Sallisaw, in front of the Pier 7 store.

There is no word on the severity of injuries from the crash.
