OG&E Crews Deploy As Virginia Prepares For Major Winter Storm

80 OG&E workers and a fleet of trucks are headed to Virginia to help with expected power outages from a coming winter storm.

Parts of that state could get a foot of snow by Sunday.

The crews left Shawnee around 6 a.m. on Friday morning.

They will stop in Muskogee and Fort Smith to pick up additional staff and are expected to arrive in Richmond, Virginia on Saturday night.
