Oklahoma City Police are investigating a shooting near Southwest 15th Street and South Pennsylvania Avenue on Wednesday morning.

The shooting took place just blocks away from a drive-by shooting that happened late on Tuesday night.

According to police, one woman was shot in the leg and was taken to the hospital. Officials say she is expected to recover from her injuries.

Currently, there is no word on if the shooting was connected to the overnight drive-by.
