Tulsa police is investigating a shooting involving one of its officers at a parking lot near E 3rd St. and South Elgin Ave.

Police have not provided any details about what led to the shooting but said an officer shot a man in the leg.

Officers say that the suspect tried to run away after being shot but was caught and taken into custody.
