Tulsa Police have identified the man who officers found dead with a gunshot wound following a Tuesday night car crash.

Police identified the man as 37-year-old Joshua Hurd. Police said they responded to a crash near 14th and Lewis Tuesday night. When they arrived, officers said they found a man with a gunshot wound in the head inside a car that had crashed into a street sign.

Tulsa Police are searching for the suspect, 35-year-old Casey Davis, wanted for first-degree murder.

Officers believe Hurd died as a result of the gunshot wound, not the vehicle accident.
