Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell announced the selection of Oklahoma Senator James Lankford to join the Senate Energy Committee.

Senator Lankford will serve on the Energy and Natural Resources Committee for, at least, the current legislative session which will run until January 21 of next year.

Senator Lankford will also continue to serve on the Finance, Ethics, Homeland Security and Governmental affairs, and the Indian Affairs Committees.
