The Terrence Crutcher Foundation held their fourth annual day of service on Wednesday.
Foundation leaders and members of the Crutcher family attended the event, which included a care package drive, a cookout and a concert. Organizers said they hope the day helps get some Tulsans through difficult times.
“Providing them just a little peace today, a little bit of music, a little bit of food for their bellies and a little bit of comfort in the form of some kits that should get them through a few weeks,” Greg Robinson of the Terrence Crutcher Foundation said.
The foundation said the care packages collected at the event will go to the city’s new overflow homeless shelter.
