Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a woman is in the hospital after an accident in Mayes County.

Troopers say it happened Friday night around 9:15 on State Highway 82 just two miles south of Salina. OHP says a man was driving his Chevy Silverado when he tried to make a left turn and was hit by a woman driving a Chevy Trax.

The driver of the Chevy Trax was flown to a Tulsa hospital but the report says she's doing well. Both vehicles had a passenger but troopers say no one else was seriously hurt. OHP says everyone was wearing seat belts and airbags were deployed in both vehicles.
