Coats for Kids

Thousands of Oklahomans go through our cold winters without a warm coat. Please help by donating new or gently used coats to Trav’s Coats for Kids. Take children’s or adult-sized coats to any Yale Cleaners location. They will clean and mend the coats and First Baptist Tulsa will distribute them to those in need.

Start A Coat Drive

Planning your own coat drive? Thank you for teaming up with News On 6 and Trav’s Coats for Kids to help keep Oklahomans warm this winter!

  1. Email the details and dates of your coat drive or event to coatsforkids@griffin.news
  2. Download and print the Trav’s Coats for Kids poster to help promote your event
  3. Post information and photos on the News On 6 Facebook page!
  4. After the coat drive ends, email us again and tell us how many coats you collected! Include the name and phone number of a contact person.
  5. Drop off the coats you collected at any Yale Cleaners location listed below.

If you need a coat, visit the NEW Trav's Coats for Kids Distribution Centers at First Baptist Tulsa (downtown) and the Caring Center South. See addresses below. The distribution centers are operated by First Baptist Tulsa.
