One man has been arrested Saturday after a deadly shooting in Bartlesville, officials said. 

According to police, 45-year-old Shawn Lynch shot and killed his roommate, 29-year-old Kolton Joshua Edwards at their home near Sooner Park and Belmont Drive around 10 p.m.  Friday night. 

Edwards was taken to a Tulsa hospital where he later died. 

Investigators are still trying to figure out what led up to the shooting but said it happened inside the home. 

"We talked to the people at the hospital that had brought the victim in, they had given us a few names here and there but then they became combative and weren't wanting to answer questions," said Bartlesville Police Captain Jay Hastings. 

Police said Lynch left the scene but later agreed to turn himself in after officer got in touch with him.
