Sad news this morning as Earl Thomas Conley has died at the age of 77. He released 41 singles to radio throughout his career, and he had the third most #1 songs in the 1980's, right behind Alabama and Ronnie Milsap. ETC's music was referred to as "thinking man's country." Songs such as "Holding Her and Loving You," "I Can't Win For Losin' You," and "What I'd Say" dominated the 80's, and we're still proud to be playing them on Big Country 99.5!
