The Wyandotte Nation will present a $60,000 check to the Ottawa County Sheriff's Department for a new vehicle on Thursday.

The presentation will take place at the Wyandotte Headquarters near the city of Wyandotte.

The nation said in the wake of the McGirt Ruling, it saw a need in the Sheriff's department and wants to strengthen its partnership.

The presentation ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday.
