OHP says two people are dead after a driver crashed on 21st Street after a pursuit involving Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

OHP trooper Eric Foster said the two people who died were hit by the suspect vehicle. OHP said one person was transported to the hospital.

The crash happened on 21st Street between Garnett Avenue and Highway 169.

Troopers say they attempted to stop the vehicle because it was stolen. Troopers said the driver led them on a high speed chase lasting more than 15 minutes.

Authorities have closed 21st Street east of Highway 169.
