Officials Investigate Shooting Involving Police At Bartlesville Gas Station

OSBI is investigating after Bartlesville Police said a wanted suspect pulled a gun on police and was then shot by officers.

Bartlesville Police said they received a call about a stolen vehicle around 7 p.m. Friday night and located it at the Casey's General Store near SE Adams and Madison Boulevard in Bartlesville.

Police said when they arrived, they confronted the suspect, Tyler Scott Thomas Rollins, who then ran off. Police said Rollins pulled out a gun and that’s when officers fired four shots.

Officials said Rollins has been wanted for several weeks. Police said Rollins was alert and talking with EMS at the scene before being taken to a hospital.

"We have had a few officer-involved shootings but it's not something we want to happen," Bartlesville Police Captain Jay Hastings said.

Bartlesville Police say Rollins is in stable condition.

Police said no officers or citizens were injured in the incident.

This is a developing story. News On 6 has a crew on the scene.
